Start of 2005-2006 Academic Year
Listed below are the "Scholastic K-6 Chess Ratings" list for the beginning of 2005-2006. The students' grades have been increased by 1; last year's 6th graders have been dropped from the K-6 listing; and each player's ratings has been increased by 50 rating points to counter the annual 'ratings deflation.' Also, this list only includes "active" players, defined as those who have played in at least one scholastic tournament since September 2004.
